So I was watching Gossip Girl the other night and Scout was suspiciously silent and suspiciously...missing. So I took to the search and happened upon this lovely scene in the kitchen.

Say hello to Cohen Burr Sharp

Here is my new nephew Cohen. He is Ryan and Jamie's new baby. He was born Thursday afternoon and was 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 21 inches. We are all very grateful that all went well and everyone is healthy and happy. He is so sweet...

I got Lagooned...
Happy post Halloween! Mine was great. We had a big party at school on Friday and I dressed as Harry Potter. The weirdest part is that I really looked like him. A lot. Kind of concerning actually. Oh well. On Halloween night I went to Lagoon with some friends and partook in the Frightmares fun. This was my first time to Lagoon and I had a blast. Hope Halloween was great for all of you! Happy November!

S'mores Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes on Sunday night and they were SO amazing. You must make them ASAP. You need them. Word to the wise though, they are a little time intensive, so schedule out some time to do them right. Enjoy!

Recent Obsessions

Hello all...I know it's been a while, but here are a few things I have become obsessed with this summer. First of all, the Tory Burch booties (above) are AMAZING. I want, I want, I need, I need! They would be perfect for every outfit. They would make my legs look more toned. They would call me "The Girl in the Tory Burch booties"...you get the idea.

Next up, the new Zooey Deschanel movie "500 Days of Summer". While she is a total man eater in it, and pretty much treats the way nice boy in the movie like total dirt, she still looks fabulous and like always, I can't get enough. She's adorable. Obsessed.

Chuck Klosterman is a genius. This is the third book of his that I have read and I LOVE THEM. Every single chapter. Every single word. The thing I love about his books is that they are about normal life, but he just makes it so funny. All throughout the book I would literally LOL (you know Laugh Out Loud, but for real, not in the lame, acronym using way.) ANYWAY, they are super books so just go buy them so Mr. Klosterman can make money and keep writing books to keep me entertained.

And finally, a couple weeks ago I got a haircut. The above picture is what I took into the salon. As a hairstylist (albeit a junior one), you would think I would realize that even though you can take a picture in, most times you and the sed model DO NOT have the same hair, so the cut will NOT look the same. However, being the silly girl I am, I forgot this small detail. And even though many people have told me that my theory is incorrect, I feel that my haircut looks less like the fabulous model above, and more like the "cute" model below...

Yes. I feel that I look like a brunette, 23-year old version of Kit Kittredge ( in all her American Girl, 30's style bob glory). Since I do not have any decent pictures of my new cut yet, I will just have to meet up with anyone desiring to see it for a personal appearance.
I hope all the readers of my little blog are well and I miss you and love you all!
